...thankful for such godly parents who loved me and encouraged me throughout my life. Dennis
Hi Don!
Mom and Dad left me with an understanding of faith that has made me a better dad, husband, preacher, elder, friend, etc. They were generous (almost to a fault) with their time and money almost to a fault. Many times I saw Dad take money he really didn't have and pay a water bill, buy groceries or do something else to help someone needing help. One other thing Dad left me with was a patience with the imperfections of other people. Mom, left me understanding commitment to God. There was nothing more important than God to mom. While today I question some of the specifics, her singular focus was a great paradigm.
